Anthony White

Chief Executive Officer

Anthony has had an over 29 year involvement with the pharmacy industry with much of it spent with the TWC network.

After leaving PricewaterhouseCoopers (previously Price Waterhouse) in 1986, he took his first job with the TWC brand as an accountant.

Anthony stayed with the TWC brand performing various roles in finance, marketing and management until FH Faulding bought the management company in 1998. Anthony stayed on with FH Faulding and was appointed to the position of General Manager - Faulding Retail. When FH Faulding sold to Mayne Group Limited, Anthony took on the role of General Manager - Retail Pharmacy Services.

After leaving the pharmacy industry and his position with Mayne in 2002, Anthony spent five years focussed on professional development, before joining TWG as Chief Executive Officer in July 2009. He holds Master’s Degrees in Commerce, Finance and Business Administration. He also holds a Doctor of Philosophy completed at the University of Reading (UK) and is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia.

Tanya Cain

Chief Financial Officer

Tanya joined TWG as Chief Financial Officer in August 2009 and brings to the Group more than 16 years experience in finance-related roles.

Tanya started her career in finance with KPMG in South Africa and was involved in diverse industries, including post production and mining, before becoming Financial Director of Computicket. Prior to moving to Australia, she worked for the Vodacom Group and held the Financial Director role in their service provider business, Vodac and their internet business, Vodacom World Online.

After migrating to Australia with her family, Tanya was employed by international jewellery retailer Michael Hill International Limited as Group Financial Manager.

Tanya is a member of the Australian Institute of Chartered Accountants, is a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and holds Bachelor Degrees in Accounting (Hons) and Commerce from the University of Witwatersrand (South Africa).

Yvonne MacLeod

General Manager Corporate Development

Yvonne joined TWG in February 2010 to manage the capital raising project and then to oversee strategy development and implementation within TWG, focusing on opportunities to capture further margin across the value chain through strategic alliances, joint ventures and acquisitions.

With more than 13 years experience in the areas of corporate strategy, business development, marketing and corporate affairs, Yvonne has held senior roles with a number of organisations including Energex Limited, Telstra, Medibank Private and the Snowy Mountains Hydro-electric Authority.

Prior to joining TWG, Yvonne was focused on the development and implementation of complex strategic change programs. This included developing the group strategy and transformational change program for the Uniting Care Queensland group of organisations and overseeing a change program for Babcock & Brown Power.

Yvonne has a Bachelor of Commerce, Bachelor of Business Communication (with Distinction) and a Masters of Business Administration.

Chris Swifte

General Manager Franchise Development

Chris joined TWG as National Franchise Development Manager in June 2003. With 20 years experience in the natural health and pharmacy industries Chris is at the coalface of growing the national network of TWG franchises.

Prior to joining TWG, Chris spent four years with Symbion in a variety of roles including Business Development Manager of Wholesale Sales in Victoria and National Recruitment Manager Medicine Shoppe Australia. During a five year period as Business Development Manager (Victoria) for Bullivants Natural Health Products, Chris guided the brand’s successful expansion into pharmacy.

Chris holds a Diploma of Business (Franchising) from the Australian Institute of Management/Franchise Council of Australia and an Executive Certificate Accounting and Certificate of Nutrition and Health from Monash University.

He is a former member of the Pharmacy Guild of Australia Franchise Committee.

Shane Lipton

General Manager Merchandise and Marketing

Shane Lipton has been involved with TWG for over 10 years, with the last 5 years leading the Marketing and Merchandise Team as General Manager - Marketing & Merchandise.

Shane has a Bachelor of Business in Marketing from Monash University and has deep knowledge of the Australian and international retail landscape.

Over the last 25 years, Shane has been instrumental in providing leadership across a number of strategic disciplines including: development of Private Labels, establishment of a global sourcing program, Retail Pricing, Category Management, development of strong supplier relationship and many other retail marketing programs.
